Gridword was awarded as the Best SME by the Hong Kong General Chamber of Small and Medium Enterprises in 2015. The award recognizes the SME spirit for self-improvement.The review procedure is rigorous. The panel reviews the shortlisted SMEs for their operations, services, objectives, corporate structure and culture as well as assess how well they communicate these achievements, embody the SME spirit and contribute to the development of SMEs.
Since 2011, Gridword has been received the Caring Company logo from HKCSS. We encourage our colleagues to make use of their expertise to help charity groups from different sectors in event management so as to contribute to the community and thus promote social inclusion. We sponsored and supported more than 50 non – profit organizations on events management.Our Director Ms. Janice Chung was elected as the chairwoman of the “Cyberun” charity walk by the HK Society for Rehabilitation. They raised more than $800,000 charity fund for the works in both HK & China disability to live in a fulfilling live.
To encourage local enterprises in their corporate responsibility by hiring local institutes and universities, we gave the graduates training opportunities and practical work experience.
The International Institute of Management (IIM) awarded Gridword the Management Excellent Award in 2014, as part of its social engagement initiative. It pays tribute to those enterprises that have been contributing towards societal good and utilize resources effectively.
Gridword was awarded as the Best Youth SME 2014 by the HK General Chamber of Small and Medium Enterprises. To encourage youth enterprises for their contributions using their professionalism for the community good.
Gridword regularly shares and delivers talks to young people about event management. This year, Gridword was invited by IVE (Lee Wai Lee Campus) Department of Business Administration to give talk on “Event Planning and Management”.
